What Is Neural Touch?
Do you want a therapeutic system that Treats the whole body:
People often speak about "body wisdom" in connection with integrative therapies. If the body is indeed so smart, then only reasonable hints should be necessary to get it back on track when there is a problem. Many therapeutic systems strive to approach this subtlety, this minimalist language that the neuro-muscular-visceral systems can understand. Neural Touchª is at the cutting edge of this search. Neural Touchª is a subtle muscle/nerve/connective tissue technique inspired by a number of osteopathic modalities. The work is gentle, non-invasive and can be performed through the clothing. Unlike massage or other manipulations that try to force a change, Neural Touch simply resets your body to heal itself. The results are profound and lasting, and usually apparent within two or three sessions. Neural Touch's application is completely safe. and appropriate for
everyone from highly trained athletes, to newborns, to pregnant women,
to the elderly and infirm. Neural Touch effectively addresses musculo-skeletal
conditions, sporting injuries, digestive and respiratory conditions,
organic and glandular complaints and general stress and tension.
Practitioners treat migraines, temporomandibular joint syndrome (TMJ),
carpal-tunnel syndrome, sciatica, scoliosis, asthma and colic with
a consistently high rate of success. Tough sometimes evocative of other modalities, Neural Touch is a novel bodywork application:
An Neural Touch treatment consists of a gentle probing and shifting of tissues, often in the form of gentle, rolling "moves" done across superficial muscles, tendons and nerves. There is also a directed stretching and positioning of the limbs and torso when spinal reflexes need to be invoked. Because of the profound interconnectedness of the body, through postural vectors, interlinking fascial planes and neurological "reflections" from one area to another, the body needs to be addressed and treated as a whole. However, certain areas have proven to be especially troublesome and are given more focused attention:
As previously indicated, these modules are not separable in fact. Together, they address systems within the body system as a whole, including the respiratory, digestive, endocrine, cranio-sacral and autonomic nervous systems. Although extremely gentle, these stimulations are so powerful that it's necessary to let the patient rest and "cook" a minute or so between certain segments in order that they completely integrate the neurological changes. The entire process is so soothing that most patients will fall asleep at least once during the session. Home
